The annual Granton Community Remembrance Service at the War Memorial at Granton Parish Church is on Sunday 14th November.
As usual the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers will be attending – but for this year we will only be attending the outdoor part of the event, and not joining the service in church afterwards.
The event starts at 10.50am, so all should meet by 10.30am at the church gates wearing Uniform and a Poppy.
All should be clear by 11.10.
If it’s cold it’s best to wear layers under uniform, rather than jackets over – and hiding – uniform.
Families and friends are also invited to join the service afterwards, but we won’t be going as a group.
We will be joined at the event by local politicians, Guides, Sea Cadets, BBs and Army Reserve Units from Claverhouse in Granton Square.
Hope to see lots of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and families there.
Chas (Group Scout Leader)
